Hiking in Tinajones
In this excursion you will learn the more than 50 year tradition of ¨Rodaos de Marcela¨ in which you will get a close-up look at the local plants and animals, wide pools of water, waterfalls, and even a spot where you can buy local handicrafts. This hiking excursion is unique in natural exploration and our historic heritage. Sendero Los Tinajones includes safety equipment, snacks, lunch, experienced guides, and transportation from Jamao al Norte (Safari or 4 x 4).

All our excursions have scheduled stops for rest and bathing and personal hygiene.
9:00AM - 9:30AM Transportation
- At one point along the way you will be able to see the elaboration of Rodaos de Marcela (an artisanal product).
- We stop at Nuestra Señora del Carmen to learn a little about the community.
10:00AM - Delivery of equipment and talk 5 min
At the beginning of our tour, the guide will give you the necessary equipment for your safety and kayak training.
10:00AM - 10:30AM Walk on the trail
10:30AM - 11:30AM Enjoy in the puddles
During this time you can enjoy puddles, caves, waterfalls and free fall.
11:30AM Refreshment and rest
In the 2nd tinajón you can enjoy a snack based on products from the area (Cheese, juices and Rodao)
11:50AM - 1:00PM Enjoy in the puddles
During this time the enjoyment continues in puddles and waterfalls. This is in a community house when we finish the tour.

Lunch is in a family house in the community (they are part of the experience)
